●ゆっくりと味わって欲しい“和讃（日本で日本語で作られ経の一種）”の一つ『菩提和讃』
●菩提和讃（ぼだいわさん）
若し人三世一切の仏を知んと欲すれば、法界性を観ずべし。
一切唯心造なりと、衆生おのおの仏性を、受けて生まれしものなれば
一念不生に至るとき、忽ち仏性現前し、老若男女もろともに、その身が即ち仏なり。
しかるに一念迷い初め、本有の仏性見失い、みずから凡夫となるゆえに貪り瞋り痴さの、煩悩しげき三毒に、闇き迷いの日々となる。
また色声香味触と五欲の悦楽追い求め、刹那の夢に酔いしれる
殺生偸盗邪淫慾、悪口両舌綺語妄語、破戒無懺の輩に、いつか救いのありぬべき。
それ人間の身を受けて、この世に生まれ来ることは、爪の上端に置ける土。
まして尊き仏法の、教えに親しく遇うことは、まこと得がたき縁なり。
かかる時節を失わず、信心決定いたすべし。
人々賢き智慧あれば、春は万の種を蒔き、秋の稔りを待つのみか、衣服家宅に至るまで、遠き計画立てながら、今をも知れぬ後の世の、永き冥路を打ち忘れ、空しく過ごすぞ愚なり。
無常の風に誘われて、忽ちこの世を終るとき、何を頼みとなすべきや、あまた資産のあるとても、冥途の用にはならぬもの。
家財重宝持つ人も、携え行くべき途ならず、偕老比翼の契いもしばし浮世の夢ならん。
兄弟朋友ありとして、伴い行くことさらになし、出入りの息の絶えぬれば、野辺の送りを営みて、老いも若きも仇野の、空の煙と消え失せん。
朝夕撫でし黒髪も、蓬が根の塵となる。
かかる憂き目のあるゆえに、ひたすら菩提を願うべし。
弘誓の願を身につけて、忍辱精進怠らず、布施や愛語にこころざし、十善の道歩みつつ、他己をも自己と覚るならば、これぞ菩薩の浄土なり。
観世の慧眼明らかに、弘く衆生に回向して、ともに濁世を渡るべし。
尚ぶらくは人間の、受くる形はそのままに、仏の姿にかわらねば、本来より具えし霊明の、一仏心に覚むとき、この身すなわち仏にて、仏が仏を念ずれば、一声唱うる称名も、諸仏の浄土に通徹す。
日々仏に近づきて、礼拝供養も懇ろに、香花燈燭とりささげ、粥飯茶果等供えつつ、身口意三輪浄らかに、称名念仏経陀羅尼、坐禅観法修すれば浄土はもとよりわが身にて、心が即ち仏なり。
つらつらこの身を観ずるに、生生世世の父母や、一切衆生にいたるまで、その恩愛の深きこと、天の極り無きごとし。
されば誓願たてまつり、無明の眠りを覚しつつ、行住坐臥に怠らず、一心勇猛に修業して、無辺の衆生を慈しみ、菩提の道に趣かせ、本有の仏性発露して、不報の恩を報ぜんと、般若の船に掉さして、涅槃の岸に到るべし。

★一昨日、南伊豆の禅堂で、一度に３匹の子ヤギが誕生し、菜・根・譚の家族は６匹になりました。
